Pie Pops..

Who doesn't like pie? Especially during the holiday's. Well not many people buy pie through out the year.. It's spring time, Easter is later this month, and everywhere I go there's a wedding being plan. I found an awesome idea to do with pie.

More and more weddings couples are having at there reception a candy station, or a dessert bar. Which I'm a big fan of doing, for my kid's birthday parties, or baby shower's.

And couple's are coming up with creative ideas, with sweet treats. Some have four to five different kinds of cake rather then having a traditional wedding tier cake. Some are having a variety of sorts of candy in beautiful candy jars, or mason jars (also cute idea). Cake pops, cookies, cupcakes, but I fell in love with the Pie Pop! Easy to make, and great for a sweet table, favors, or to give as a gift. Wish I came up with this idea.

So I made some and they taste great! You can have some with Apple, Raspberry, Cherries, Pecan, and even pumpkin.

They are easy to eat, no mess. Kid's and adults love them.

Candy Molds.

Well there is so much going on this year with Mr. and Mrs. Cupcakes, but notthing like for my husband and I. Our oldest is turning the big 5. Soon he'll be starting school. Well his birthday isn't till later in the winter, and turning five is a big deal. So we deicide to host a big birthday party. Carnival theme, how fun right?

I'm making his birthday cake, etc. But I found these awesome candy molds. Mustache's so I played around with them the other day. What do you think?

Cute right, and love that I used these striped straws that I found at Target in the party supply.

The cool thing about these are you can make them all solid chocolate, or you can fill them in with peanut butter, and/or caramel.

Oreo cookie covered with Chocolate...

I made these awesome looking treats, and are soo good. I dip Oreo cookie in chocolate. Even better I made them looking like Minnie Mouse. I had fun making these. Then for kicks, I add zebra strips.

They are cute, and simple. And yummy!

Baking supplies..

When making a cake pop. We do use the regular cake pop sticks you see in photos on the web and etc.. But I alway's try to use strip paper straws, they can go with any theme. You can find these at your local craft store.

They even come in poka dots, they come in all different colors from your light pastels, to your darks. They go perfect in vintage milk jars, cake pops, french square bottles, or mason jars. (weddings, candy station, birthday parties etc..).

Also, when it come to cupcake liners..designs, sizes, colors are endless as well. Here at MrandMrsCupcakes, we try to keep a natural brown cupcake liner. But when it come's to the holiday's you can't help but use decorative cupcake liner to go with the theme.

Then newest awesome invention in the cupcake industri would be the Push pop, ice cream cups, ice cream cones.

Cake balls

I just had to post up this picture of the Valentine's Cake Balls I did this pass week. I thought they are a great gift to give all year long. Especially for a wedding anniversary coming up, and Mother's Day; not just one day of the year that our boyfreinds, or our husbands give to us. Also good for Birthday's as well.
